Founded in 1982 — originally two brothers performing light carpentry and ceramic tiling — Salisbury Construction Co. is now a second-generation, family owned & operated business, grown into one of the most recognized and prominent general contractors and builders in the region.

Jon Lapin
President / Founder
Jon founded Salisbury Construction Co. at the age of 18, after apprenticing as a carpenter with his Industrial Arts teacher from Doherty Memorial High School. A Master Builder, he has been extensively involved in the design-build of numerous homes and commercial buildings throughout Central Massachusetts. Jon led the renovation of the old Tatnuck Bookseller Building in Tatnuck Square — a project that won the Silver Hammer Award from the Worcester Chamber of Commerce.
Joel DiGregorio
Estimator & Project Manager
With over 35 years in the construction trades, Joel brings a wide range of talent to every project. A master problem solver across both residential and commercial work, he gives clients peace of mind that their project will be completed correctly, with no deficiencies. Joel holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License, regularly attends continuing education on the building code, and is trained as a Massachusetts residential home inspector.
Ben Lapin
Operations Manager
Ben started as an apprentice in the family business at 14, visiting job sites with his father. An Eagle Scout, he earned a B.S. in Construction Management from Fitchburg State University. Today he runs the company’s residential remodeling and excavating operations, with experience in framing, finish carpentry, project management and heavy machinery. Ben holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License, a Hoisting License, and is OSHA 30 certified.
